  • Aged for a minimum of 6 years and 3 months in 228-liter barrels after selective sorting of our best Savagnin barrels.
  • No topping-up or racking during the entire ageing period.
  • Creation of a yeast veil to protect the wine from oxidation and bring out all its powerful aromas.
  • During this prolonged ageing period, part of the wine evaporates, reducing the initial volume from 100cl to 62cl, hence the Clavelin bottle format.
